Most moms walk into birth hoping breastfeeding wil Most moms walk into birth hoping breastfeeding will work out.

And you know what? That's completely normal.
Hope is a beautiful starting place.

But here's what I've learned from working with hundreds of moms:

The ones who feel most confident in those early days?

They paired their hope with preparation.

Here's what preparation looked like for them:

✓ They had a prenatal visit to ask questions while they were still calm and rested.

✓ They learned what to expect BEFORE the moment felt urgent.

✓ They built a relationship with a support person—so when 2am on day three hit and things felt hard, they already had someone in their corner.

Does preparation guarantee a perfect journey?

No. Nothing does.

But it changes what's available to you when things get hard.

And things WILL get hard at some point.

Not because you're doing something wrong.
But because breastfeeding is a skill that takes time to learn—for you AND your baby.

If you're reading this and thinking:

➡️ I didn't prepare. Does that mean I'm behind?
No.

It means you get to decide RIGHT NOW what support looks like moving forward.

Whether you're:

➡️Still pregnant and wanting to prepare

➡️Already postpartum and looking for help

➡️Somewhere in between

It's never too late to build the support you need.

The question is:

Do you want to learn it alone?
Or with someone who's already walked this road?

DM me to talk about working together before your baby arrives.

Let's make sure you're not figuring this out at 3am, exhausted and alone. 💙

And that matters. Because it means the cycle can And that matters.

Because it means the cycle can change with YOU.

The mothers.
The aunts.
The partners.
The friends.

The ones who handed you a bottle of formula when what you needed was encouragement and help?

They were doing the best they could with what they knew.

Because nobody taught them either.

The gap in breastfeeding support is generational.

And it doesn't get fixed by blame.

It gets fixed by women like YOU who decide to do it differently.

Who decide to:

✨️Get the knowledge

✨️Build the support

✨️Break the pattern

Your choice to prepare and ask for help isn't just for you.

It's for the women who come after you.

Your daughter.
Your niece.
Your best friend.

That's what this work is really about.

❤️Changing what support looks like for the next generation.

And it starts with you.

 Save this one.

Just because something is natural does not mean ea Just because something is natural does not mean easy.

Talking is natural.

Walking is natural.

And we still teach babies how to do both over time.

➡️Breastfeeding is a learned skill — for both you and your baby.

Your baby has never done this before.

You may have not done this before.

And the expectation that it should just work from the first moment and every moment after doesn't always happen.

It takes time.

Struggling in the early days does not mean something is wrong with you.

It means you are learning something new under the most demanding circumstances imaginable.

Give yourself the grace you would give anyone learning something for the first time.

And then get the support that makes the learning faster, less painful, and far less lonely.
