You had it all mapped out, and then things changed You had it all mapped out, and then things changed in an instant. It’s okay to grieve the experience you thought you would have. That disappointment doesn't make you any less of a mother.

Your birth story

Your breastfeeding journey

Your postpartum experience

is yours.

Even the parts that feel heavy.

But here's the truth: a difficult start doesn't mean your breastfeeding journey is over before it begins. You can still find your rhythm and bond through breastfeeding with your baby.

There is so much light ahead of you.

One feeding at a time, you are building a beautiful life together.

In one word, how did you feel about breastfeeding after your delivery?

Having a breast pump will help you on your breastf Having a breast pump will help you on your breastfeeding journey but I also want you to feel prepared before your baby gets here.

I'm Nasheeda, as a lactation consultant working overnight at a hospital many moms aren't prepared for those challenges that happened in the first few hours and days in the hospital.

Thats why I created an infant feeding plan.

Comment PLAN and I'll send it you.
You should be asleep right now. Instead you're ly You should be asleep right now.

Instead you're lying there running through it all in your head. Did I pump long enough last night? Is my output dropping? Should I change my settings? Am I doing something wrong?

And the hard part is — you're not even sure where the worry started. Just that somewhere along the way, someone told you something. And now it lives in the back of your mind on a loop.

Even on the one morning that was supposed to be just for you.

That's what bad advice does. It doesn't just confuse you in the moment. It follows you. It shows up at 6am on Mother's Day when everyone else is still asleep and you're supposed to be resting.

You deserve more than that. You deserve information that actually gives you peace — not more reasons to question yourself.

Because a confident mom isn't one who never has questions. She's one who has the right information so the questions don't have to keep her up at night.

You are doing more than enough. Even today. Especially today. ❤️

Drop a ❤️ if you're the mom who's never fully off the clock — even on Mother's Day. I see you.

You just gave birth and you are exhausted

Struggling to keep your eyes open while the nurse is telling you about

weighing your pads, reviewing the postpartum depression screening and how to use the bulb syringe to suction your baby.

That you can't remember what she said about breastfeeding… it all seems like a blur.

So when it's time to feed your baby your brain goes blank and somehow you can't remember what she said about your milk production in the first few days.

You start second guessing if you are making enough as you attempt to hand express for the first time.

All the fears you had about breastfeeding start to flood your brain and now you a doubting if you can make it through the night forget making it through the first month!

There is peace that comes from knowing what to expect during those first few days of breastfeeding even when challenges happen.

Being prepared for the unexpected doesn’t mean that you will always have it all figured out but that first hour after birth shouldn't be the first time you are learning about breastfeeding.

If you desire to breastfeed and don't want to wait until your baby arrives to learn about your milk supply in the first 48 hours comment milk and I'll send it to you

You spent months picking the perfect stroller and You spent months picking the perfect stroller and folding tiny onesies.

Then the baby arrives, and suddenly, the most natural thing in the world feels like the hardest puzzle you’ve ever solved.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed when that first latch isn't the magic moment you saw on TV.

Breastfeeding is a learned skill for both you and your baby.

💫You aren't doing anything wrong if it feels clumsy or confusing right now.

💫Your body is doing incredible things, and you are exactly what your baby needs.

💫Imagine waking up for a midnight feed feeling calm instead of anxious because you know exactly how to guide your baby.

That peace is possible for you.
